The goal of the company ZEBR and a team of scientists from the Department of Optics at Palacky University in Olomouc was to develop and improved, highly accurate and robust spectrometer for the measurement of Raman optical activity (ROA) intended for use from research to industrial applications.
The spectrometer was designed for use in industrial and medical environments without the the need for a clean room environment and highly stable temperatures.
Additional values of spectrometer include its sampling configurability to meet the specific needs of research teams and laboratories.
Development started more than 10 years ago and a major milestone was reached in 2023 with the delivery of the ROA spectrometer to the first customer.
